Maybe Patrick just bumped the wrong button.

I do remember seeing that Q&A format briefly made available on our posts, but that was taken away so main blog authors are now the only ones who can use that feature. I never got around to trying it out, but I’m pretty sure it’s just an option that the author can toggle back and forth. I’ve seen some Q&A posts revert to the normal format after the initial Q&A session was over.

Is it really so difficult to not screw up a comments section? I come for the comment discussions at least as much as the articles. Most of the time now, I can only see one or two with the rest being blocked by an ad or something (work computer, can’t put adblock on it).
